Mounted archery

Just received an email from Katie Stearns about two mounted archery clinics
to be held in Sisters Oregon this Summer and thought that I would pass the information on to the ATARN members.
The dates at this time are June 5th -7th and July 10th-12th.
For more information on these events and other possible training events please check out Katie's website http:// mountedarchery.net .
Hope to see some of you there.

These are probably at Holm Neumann's place. He has a good horse archery course and nice horses. You might want to check out who's holding the clinic. Is it Lucas Novotny?

There is also a mounted archery demonstration in the Ocala Horse park in Ocala, Florida. It features Lukas Novotny and others.

Yes it is at Holme Newman's place in Sisters Oregon . The instructor in Katie Stearns and Holme Newman. A lovely place for the clinic, I was there last September and had a great time. Katie was the mounted instructor then as well and Holme took on most of the archery instruction. Holme and his wife Susan were the perfect hosts , and the mounts were quite nice as well.
Holme provided a very nice variety of bows for all to use . From Korean bows to the ones from Lukas Novotny and a few othersas well, including one of Lukas's horn bows, think it was a Yuan style. Was very impressed with the bows that Lukas crafts.
Here is a photo of Katie.
All the best,
Alan

I look forward to the next time that Lukas is the instructor at Holme's place as it is just a about 2 or 3 hours from where I live.
Would dearly love to have the chance to work with him.
