Videos/photos on oriental shooting technique

Post by Gianrico » Fri May 27, 2005 7:41 am

Does you know if anything is available on the web or to buy?
I'm training in western style and I would like to gradually switch to oriental techniques with breathing etc.

Thanks for any help

Thanks Stephen,

It would be pretty. In a not-to-near future I would like to promote oriental archery here in Geneva. There is nothing like clubs etc., excepted the presence of Kyudo clubs (which is an outstanding category).
I will work for this in the next two years.

Best regards

Gianrico,

Two shorts are at:

http://www.koreanarchery.org/amgakji.wmv

and

http://www.koreanarchery.org/sugakji.WMV

I plan to take a great deal of video footage I have and make a DVD on shooting Korean-style, possibly even this summer.

If you can read French, you can check http://webarcherie.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=715

and anyway, you'll see Stephen SELBY shooting :)

OK, thanks to everybody,

Waiting for more huge videos, this will be enough for start training.

Romain, yes, I am fluent in French - and obviously in Italian, LOL - because of the part of Switzerland I live in. I know Romain that you're there, but if this can be of any help for ATARN, let me know.

I will start my training soon, as it goes on I will ask you more helps and tips for improving my style

Best regards
