We know with certainty that there were historical archers who
trained a lifetime to have up to 14 arrows in the hand simultaneous
and shoot them very very quickly
I doubt this is true. Can you show us the source?

Gokmen posted a very good point which I totally agree.

Gokmen gots the point,

whiit no doubt there is persons that have hold the arrows in their hands in time of history, but a good friend of me asked, why doesn't we know more about it then?

every singel country or tribe wanted the best they could use at the time, why could we not find more evidence of it then?

probebly becous it wasnt something that where working in the lengh??

i think it is as Gokmen sais about the battle. its not going to work to hold al the arrows in your hands, most probebly someone is going to cut them to pices...

and the secound thing, how would you do when you are shooting barbd arrows or sharp arrows? whit the tips pointing down you are risking to cut your horse, your friends, or mostly like to cut your string,

i don't doubt that this technic where used by a singel man, or persons that fought in smaler bands, where they could do lightning attacks whit hit and run style.

if you look at the native indians, they are holding the arros up side down, arrow tip up and fleaching down, in that wasy you could twist the arrow arround your bow, and you wound not be any danger to your comrad or what so ever,
