Hunt scene, Qum carpet.

Post by sean » Tue Jan 06, 2009 11:28 am

Bought in Bratislava on route to Grozer recently, this silk on silk Qum appears to show the familiar climax of the hunt scene. Perhaps the source is a miniature; the details are good. Riders are shown with all weapons deployed. Preparation for war indeed. Can anyone shed any light?[/img]

Unfortunately the image only appears, when I'm logged on.
When I'm not logged on the image is absent.
    Mystified!
