I came, I saw, I learnt a lot!!

I just wanted to put up a quick post to introduce myself and to say thanks to the owner of the forum and all members for their contributions.
I have been lurking on here since last year (Aug) and been reading the old posts. Some way beyond my understanding yet!

A little about me:

I am from Iran and have lived in the UK for more than 20 years.
We belong to 2 nomadic peoples of Iran (now mostly sedantry), ghashgai on my mothers side and Shahsevan on my fathers side. I have always been fascinated by horseback archery, due to having a bit of a busy life or maybe lacking some focus I have never used a bow or ridden a horse (living in the middle of London doesn't help!).

I would like to learn to use the horn bow but I would also like to learn to make my own.
If there are any places in the UK that do HA tution or clubs I would appreciate any information!
Oh I forgot to mention that I am named after probably the most fabulous archer of all time:

Arash

Khosh amdid be ATARN Arash!

Nearest to you for horseback archery would probably be Neil Payne or Hayley Bishop (Ashmoor Horseback Archers). I went to train at Hayley's place and found it wonderful. Zana Greenwood (Stampede Stunt Company) might also be quite close.
