Visiting Adam

Post by scemdonmez » Thu Mar 21, 2013 2:15 pm

Dear Friends,

I visited my teacher-friend Adam Karpowicz in 8-12 may 2013 in his home. Im his student till 10 year. He is fantastic man and he teaches all this things without expectation. He is best teacher I ever seen. Turkish archery and bowmaking has been forgotten since 1900 , now Turkish bowmaking growing up and developing through himself. I want to share some photos.

You are too kind Cem, I am just having fun with the bows. By the way, the second bow from top (and the one I hold below) is a beautiful bow, expertly made by Cem. He is the Master now...

Great! Hi Adam, your contribution to horn bowyery is invaluable: I consider you my teacher too, if I may , even though only indirectly. Hi Cem, you learned well, you make great bows. Nice to see you together.

Dear All,

My friend Adam and his wife Ela visited me in İzmir-Turkey in 20-26/9/2014 at home. We had great time and discuss a lot of arrow and bowmaking. I hope to him soon again at home.
