So can anyone give me the temperature and times for cooking Fish Bladder glue? Again, from what I have read, these vary considerably.
I am currently cooking some fish bladder glue in a double boiler. It has been at 60degrees Celsius for about 8 hours and the pieces that I had blended show little sign of breaking down and the liquid is still quite clear, but the mixture does jell if I cool a sample of it.

I ended up cooking it at 60 C for 18 hours, added water then strained it, first through a sieve then a paint strainer and then cooked for another 2 hours. It's very clear now and jells nicely.
