where to buy sinew
let me word the question somewhat differently:
does anyone know a vendor who sells sinew in europe? I mean, elk, deer, buffalo or antelope sinew? I need it to back turkish and other bows.
i'd very much appreciate your help.
thank you,
stefan

hi Jano,
thanks for the tip. I chequed out the thread you suggested and sent some emails. let's see what hapens!
I got really upset with hudsons bay because the last sinew shipping looked like scraps, actually one third wasn't really sinew but tendon sheets, most of the rest was short and looked bad....

re sinew
I know that www.threeriversarchery.com sells both processed and raw back sinew from deer. Peronally I use backsinew from reindeer. Excellent to work with and very tough. Maybe I will have enough shortly to sell some. Check the commercials on this site. There is a scotish company that sells sinews there...
