Beginners and composite bows

Heya!

Ok, so lets take the general design of the bows.
I'm not talking about a composite horn bow, just the design.

Would this lend itself to be a good design for beginners to use?
I find they are very smooth to draw, in comparison to other bow designs of same strength. Supposing most all designs may be used with finger draw, how well do you think this should work out?

Also, is there a "best" out of all? We will use short draw like 24-26", nothing past cheek. I think light weights like 25-30 pound too. Materials will be wood, maybe sinew but I don't want to since its harder to take care of in our humid climate....though might be indestructible....

We have discussed many designs here, and there is no consensus about the 'best' design. However, I note that beginners often choose the Turkish bow design.

I had thought this maybe be difficult to master design, but then I often
see other use such bow as Korean too so maybe not so.

Or may it be because of compact design?

Thinking about it, maybe the reason for choosing 'Turkish' is not so much to do with favouring the design; but more that Klopsteg's information is in English and is more complete and detailed that you could find for other bow designs.

Well, beginner archer. Its actually friend of mine, who recently express interest in shooting. I guess you might say well if that is so you might use target recurve as its easier to use, though I think I would have to cut my arm off after the lesson So, if possible I wanted to keep it traditional.

Well, if it's for a beginning archer, then I suppose the design of the bow itself doesn't matter so much as how well-made it is. Have you considered the takedown that's being promoted here?
