Hi, new here

Post by gimley » Wed Nov 12, 2008 8:38 pm

Hi all,
I'm new on here, just want to say hello.
I've made a few bows, mainly flat or cable type. The best one so far is a replica of the Meare Heath for a museum, I'll post a couple of pics soon ( or you can see it on my web site www.cornishwoodworks.com)
The next one is an Asiatic style horse bow, so I'll have a few questions :)
I've tried a couple of the fibreglass type and they're good bows for what they are, but I want to do it totally authentic, with horn/sinew.

I'll be back with questions soon

Thanks for the welcomes.
Certainly do like bows, especially the more 'unusual'ones.
You'll probably be so bombarded with questions soon, when you see one of my postings you'll say "oh no, not him again"
